For this Process and Production, I learned the basics of After Effects, I have to admit that this was the first time I have ever used After Effects and it was different to any software I have ever used before.
Prior to this session, I had to produce at least 10 images on Photoshop about a book which I can use to produce my mini video. The book I chose was 'Who are ya?' by Gershon Portnoi which is basically a book about football chants and I had to select an audio to go with my story.
This is what I produced on Photoshop......
I decided to use the name of the book for my first few slides, I also used the same colour as the book cover for the first two but the idea behind it was I tried to create it like how a person would say it, for example, if you notice, the text increases in size in each slide then for 'YA?', it's really big and it's red because I wanted to emphasize that the crowd is shouting.
The slides with the ball is all about the ball moving towards the goal as someone kicked it and I used the green to symbolize the pitch and I designed the ball myself, I drew it with pencil because I decided that I didn't want everything to be made on Photoshop, I tried to combine other techniques and mediums.
The penalty part would just be the crowd shouting penalty which is a common crowd chant. I included the same two colours that I used earlier on because I feel like it gives that feeling that the crowd is shouting.
