After Effects #1 - Part 2

After Effects

In this session, I downloaded the audio for my video and we began by opening the audio in After Effects so that was the first thing I was taught then I was taught how to move around the audio like if I wanted the audio to start after 2 seconds, I would know how to do that or If I wanted the audio to last a certain amount of time.

I was taught how to add layers and place them where and when I want them to appear on screen, I used different colours for each layers so it was easier for me to know which layer is which. After that, it was time to include the images I created on Photoshop and I just dragged the image onto the layer that I wanted.

It came to the part where I had to combine the images and audio in a way that it went with each other and it made sense, for that part, I had to play the audio a couple of times before I could decide where to place the images and for how long.

My opinion on After Effects..... Since I have never used this kind of software before and I'm not used to it, it took me a while to understand what some features do and how to combine the audio and the images but at the end of it, I learned the basic of how to upload an audio and combine it with images.
What surprised me is how much effort and time a video takes to get produced because everything has to go with each other like the audio can't be a second later or before a specific part of a video, you have to get it right.
Truthfully, I don't see myself using After Effects that much but I am willing to use it again because I enjoyed making a short video.
