Parallax - 'The apparent displacement of an observed object due to a change in the position of the observer' - http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/parallax
I looked up a visual example to explain it to me thoroughly.
I thought about what the message behind this key word could be and I thought how an object could look different by just changing the position of the observer so the words 'perspective' and 'illusion' came to mind because in the image above, viewpoint A sees a different background to viewpoint B which could give the 'illusion' that the object has moved or the background has been replaced with another colour but only the viewpoint changes.
I thought about how it could be used in my life like how an art piece gets interpreted differently by various people but the piece still stays the same, this example is not the defintion of 'Parallax' but the idea is, just interpreted differently.
