Brief

Brief and layout of booklet

1) What am I doing?
     (My aim)

I want to create a booklet on how to create a creative CV for Graphic Designers to stand out and to reflect their skills and personality.

2) What problem(s) am I solving and my solution?

The problem is that there are Graphic Designers who find it hard to get a job so my solution to that is to help them create a creative CV to stand out and improve their chances of finding a job. An alternative way that they are used to.

3) How will I achieve that?

By using simple composition rules like grids, using colours to their advantage, font/typography to reflect the message they are trying to convey and using skills that they have to great effect.

4) My target audience

My target audience would be inexperienced Graphic Designers who are looking for a design job for the first time but in general, anybody involved with design can use this to help them.

5) How will the booklet look?
     (Style)

I want the booklet to look professional because it’s a guide book so the information should be clear and easy  to understand. I’m thinking of doing it in the Minimalist style because it’s clear and effective, but at the same time, I want the booklet to be creative because it is about creating a creative CV so I want the booklet to represent that.
