I was given a task where I had to produce a piece of work to explain how I generate my ideas and the process it goes through.
This is what I have produced......
Before
My first problem I had was how I could visually display my process of thought, I thought about explaining how ideas come to me, I thought about what happens when an idea hits me but what I realised was that the way I was thinking at that time was my thought process and the definition of the task I was doing.
I decided to visually show my thought process of when I generate an idea, I start asking myself questions to see if it's the right idea so what I am showing is that when I think of an idea, I don't just think it's the right one straight away, it goes through a test of some sort.
I thought it was a good idea to draw a face and include the questions inside it because that's where the process takes place, I tried to make it as simple to understand as possible by just including yes and no questions. Basically, how it works is that an idea enters one ear, if it's not the correct idea, it goes out of the other ear but if it's the right one, it goes up and to finish it off, I included a light bulb on top of the head because I think it's a symbol that is easy to understand and it states the end of my thought process.
I think it was a nice activity because I don't think I ever thought about how I think and to visually display it on paper was nice to see. what I can do is that I could compare it later on and see if I followed this way of thinking or if I have changed my process.
