In this session, I had to pick some typography designs that I created from last week and develop them into an alphabet to see what each letter would look like in that design.
For the design below, this is the one where I combined letters and numbers, the numbers represent where the letter is placed in the alphabet.
For some of them, I placed the number in the same place like letters 'C', 'D', 'E' and 'H' but for others, I mixed it up abit to see where the number is best placed and also, each letter is different so the number will be placed in a different place.
For the designs below, I combined shapes with letters, for some, it was easy for me to combine the letters with the shape because I created the letter using the shape like for the 'V', 'W', 'H' and 'I' but for others I couldn't so I tried to combine the letter and shape in a different way each time. I only used triangles, rectangles and circles for these designs but I feel like I could use more shapes to help me create the letters.
In conclusion, I prefer the first design because I feel like the second design still has lots of work to be made and the first design is nearly complete and I'm happy with how it looks and I find the first design useful because it tells you where the letter is placed in the alphabet as I sometimes forget which letter is placed where.
